GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE

Welcome to The StarLight Academy.

We at StarLight Academy are committed to creating and fostering an environment conducive for personal and spiritual growth.

The StarLight website and membership service including (without limitation) all websites, mobile applications and other interactive properties through which the membership is delivered (collectively, the “Service”) are owned, operated and distributed by StarLight Academy, referred to in these Terms of Service as “Starlight Academy” or “we” and through similar words such as “us,” “our,” etc.).

By accessing any part of the Service, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions described below (“these Terms of Service”)

If you do not agree to any of these terms, you should not use the Service. These Terms of Service apply to all users, including both users who are simply viewing content available on our website or users who have registered as Inner Circle members of StarLight Academy.

We may, at our sole discretion, modify these Terms of Service at any time. By accessing the Service at any time after such modifications, you are agreeing to such modifications. These Terms of Service were last modified as of 2, Feb 2023.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

The Inner Circle Service creates a curated journey for the student’s personal and soul growth

We reserve the right to refuse to provide the Service to any person for any reason and/or to discontinue the Service in whole or in part at any time, with or without prior notice.

ACCOUNT LIMITATIONS

I am entitled to one account, I acknowledge that my account is not transferable, and only for my personal purposes. I acknowledge that I am not to share my account or redistribute my account for any reason.

REFUND/ CANCELLATION POLICY

Payments are nonrefundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. You may cancel your membership in accordance with this Terms of Service.

Your subscription will continue and automatically renew on a recurring basis corresponding to the term of your subscription unless and until you cancel your subscription, or your account is otherwise suspended or terminated pursuant to these Terms.

We will charge your Payment Method a periodic subscription fee on a recurring basis corresponding to the term of your subscription. You are responsible for all applicable fees and charges incurred.

The StarLight Academy reserves the right to change the terms of your subscription, including price, from time to time, effective as of the beginning of your next billing period following the date of the change. We will give you advance notice of these changes.

No refunds are offered for membership fees or any other fees collected by the Service.

CONFIDENTIALITY

By joining The Starlight Academy Inner Circle membership, I acknowledge and agree that no recording of any kind is allowed within the course site or otherwise. No content of any kind inside The Starlight Academy may be replicated, shared or exchanged externally.

All participants information shared within The Starlight Academy, in the community or otherwise, is strictly confidential and not to be shared publicly with any external parties at any time. By accessing the Service, I acknowledge and agree that any and all information shared by other participants inside the Academy events and community spaces are to be kept confidential.

RELEASE OF LIABILITIES

I agree that I am aware and understand that The Starlight Academy, the Service and all related activities of self healing, spiritual practices, energetic activations may involve risks and dangers, including but not limited to the risk of injury and psychological events. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in The Starlight Academy’s offerings, courses and related activities, and am aware that it is a self-paced and self-led program. I freely accept and fully assume any and all of the risks and dangers involved, whether caused by the negligence of the Company, Company Representatives, or otherwise.

By using the Service, I expressly waive and release any and all claims (“Claims”) which I have or may in the future against The Starlight Academy and Company Representatives, including their respective affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) on account of any injury or damage arising out of or attributable to your participation in The Starlight Academy courses or the related activities. I agree not to commence or bring any Claims against the Indemnified Parties and I irrevocably release and discharge the Indemnified Parties from liability under the Claims.

The content held within The Starlight Academy is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is intended to provide holistic, energy oriented self care education and learning. The courses of Starlight Academy have not been scientifically evaluated and should not be used as a substitute for medical or psychiatric advice, cannot diagnose or treat any medical or psychiatric condition and does not replace care from your physician.

If you believe or suspect you are experiencing an emergency, call your medical hotline immediately.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Company’s liability with respect to its obligations under this Agreement or otherwise, whether arising in contract (including fundamental breach), tort (including negligence) or otherwise, and even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages and for any and all claims arising under or in connection with this Agreement, regardless of the form of action, shall not exceed the aggregate amount of the fees that you pay hereunder.

In no event shall the we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation, indirect, special, punitive or exemplary damages for lost business, lost savings, lost data, and lost profits, regardless of the cause and whether arising in contract (including fundamental breach), tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

GOVERNING LAW

I agree that this Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore therein, without regard to their conflict of laws principles. Should a dispute arise as a result of this Agreement, I agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore and waive any jurisdictional objections to such courts. I further agree that the prevailing party in any action that arises as a result of this Agreement will be entitled to receive from the other party its reasonable legal costs.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I have read the above terms and fully understand them. I am of the legal age of majority in my jurisdiction and am authorised to grant the permissions, waivers, and releases set forth above. I have sought or hereby waive the opportunity to seek independent legal advice prior to accepting the terms of this Agreement.
